The WRA Direct Giver Program, also known as a conduit program under state law, gives you an alternative to an RPAC investment — with full control over where your contributions go.
With Direct Giver, you can:

How can I view my Direct Giver contribution history and/or balance?
You can view your Direct Giver history and current balance in your WRA online account.
How are Direct Giver contributions treated under Wisconsin campaign finance laws?
Direct Giver contributions are treated as individual, personal contributions and not as political action committee (PAC) donations. This means the Direct Giver contributions follow the same legal rules as if you were donating directly to a candidate yourself.
Do Direct Giver contributions count toward PAC limits?
No. Since Direct Giver funds are considered personal contributions, they do not count against RPAC limits or a candidate’s total PAC receipts. You can contribute to both RPAC and the Direct Giver Program if you choose.
Does the WRA report Direct Giver contributions?
Yes. The WRA is required to file a conduit report with the State Elections Board at designated times throughout the year. This report lists all candidates who received Direct Giver contributions and the amounts they were given.
Can I request a disbursement from my Direct Giver account?
Yes, email Sandy at sandyb@wra.org with the candidate or committee name, address and amount to be disbursed.
