It was great to see REALTORS® from across Wisconsin come together, connect with one another, and, of course, see plenty of REALTOR® Party purple throughout the event.
And that purple represents something important.
It’s not red. It’s not blue. It’s REALTOR® Party purple.
The REALTOR® Party brings REALTORS® together around the issues that matter to real estate, regardless of political party. The convention may be over, but that work continues all year long.
What is the REALTOR® Party?
The REALTOR® Party is the advocacy effort of REALTORS® working together to protect the real estate industry, property owners and communities across Wisconsin.
When an issue affects your business, your clients, property owners or our communities, the REALTOR® Party ensures that REALTORS® are part of the conversation.
That happens at every level of government from your local community to the state Capitol and all the way to Washington, D.C.
What does the REALTOR® Party do?
We’ve seen the results of that advocacy throughout the past year. REALTORS® have helped advance policies designed to increase Wisconsin’s housing supply, create new tools for communities and developers, expand opportunities for homeownership, and address challenges affecting the real estate industry.
But those results don’t happen because of one person or one project. They happen because REALTORS® across Wisconsin get involved. And more than 17,500 members are part of that effort.
That involvement can mean answering a call for action, investing in RPAC and Direct Giver, building relationships with elected officials, attending an advocacy event, or simply staying informed about issues that affect your business and your clients.
Every one of those actions contributes to the REALTOR® Party.
The convention gave us an opportunity to celebrate that community in one place, but REALTOR® advocacy continues long after everyone heads home. So, thank you to everyone who joined us at convention and to every REALTOR® who gets involved throughout the year.
Because the REALTOR® Party isn’t red or blue. It’s you. You are the REALTOR® Party.
